Well, haven't been sailing since that one "adventure" but I have done alot to the boat to make the next trip more successful.
Remounted the bilge pump and routed the exit to the cockpit so it can drain out the cockpit drain-just didn't want to drill thru the hull!
Bought and am in the process of mounting hardware to run the halyards aft.
added a jib downhaul
replaced keel bolt seals

Heading to Lake Palestine to put the boat in the water at a marina there. Got the lines run to the cockpit, and a jib downhaul put in. Motor had a bad gascolator, got that repaired and it is running like a champ!
