With all due respect, I’m a little skeptical that conditions were 20-25 knots wind when the ‘racing vid’ was shot. I’m thinking winds look around 15 knots
Agreed. That max wind speed was though out the day. We had to reef, shake out the reefs and then re-reef the same day. The kids got to see how reefing added speed in high wind conditions. Knot Shore was heeling up-to 35 deg (measured) with a 137 lb weighted keel and furled Genoa. We were occasionally hitting an estimated 25 deg heel with our weight and setup. Several time the kids sheeted out the reefed Main to keep the heel at no more than 25 deg.

I also finally noticed the intermediate luff line cleat on the main (5 years later) and tensioned it to remove the sail flutter (after the vid).

Two of the kids had never sailed before this trip. The only other boating experience they have is on our boat over the summer in wakeboarding mode with no mast. All three kids could not imagine how someone would be board with sailing. I told them the thing with sailing is that when you step on the boat you have no expectations of getting there fast so every thing is in "chill" mode. I think we have three more sailors for life. Prescott told his friends that he planning to inherit Compromise, soon.
