Yikes! I wouldn't even try that with my 22, let alone the 25! I think I held my breath just like 3sheets when you attached that first stay! :D

Did a "double take" when i saw your photo up front - your boat is a dead ringer for my little craft - truly thought I was reading a post from a previous owner! After reading down further, I reckon that not to be the case, since I purchased mine from a back yard in Ormond Beach, Florida.

I've seen many a boat on various forums looking "almost" like my vessel. This was very inspiring as your boat was a copy in every detail (including the "powder blue" kind of maingy looking finish). Actually, the "gelcoat" is very smooth, just looks really oxidized.

You probably won't ever see this post (your orig. entry is ancient news), but just wanted to thank you for inspiring a newbie boat owner, with a story line that is close to home (in a figurative sense) - After several months of on-again, off-again minor renovations, I too am very anxious to get her out on the Florida Intracoastal.
