Wow! VERY nice looking boat.

Now please furl the jib all the way. Wouldn't hurt to have a few wraps of the sheets as well.

Ditto on the headsail - - -kind of like being underway with the fenders out

PS If it won't furhl any further, you need to unfurhl it totally (at the dock) and adjust the lines. Always try to keep pressure on the line as you are furhling in the headsail for maximum sail extention and retrieval. (Man - - - didn't that SOUND like I knew what I was talking about?).

That pic was last week when we pulled it to check the bottom paint bottom looks great .
we where out to day so prev owner could collect some personal stuff and rolled it up all the way.

when I first posted pic I couldn't find it. though I posted it on the wrong topic. just loged on now and there it is .

At least on this side of Canada we can sail all year round . only 41F today foggy but still had fun sitting at the dock

Yes, you are correct - - - just sitting at the dock is quite enjoyable, your enclosure will be very useful and make your boat that much more enjoyable.

I also just purchased a 96 Mac 26x this September after wanting one for year. It has been great, I just got back from a over night trip to Sidney spit and D'Arcy island with some boy scouts. It was a bit cool but a lot of fun. And now I am think I need a full enclosure, or at least a dodger. I'll keep a eye out for you next time I'm out sailing (I'll be the guy frozen to the helm).

If you attach your foresail sheets with a shackle instead of a knot, it is a lot easier to do this of course. Whe i slipped my boat, i also put a sail tie on the genie to keep it in place.

Nice boat! Nice enclosure! I refuse to write how jealous I am.
