Re: FACEBOOK
It's ANOTHER source of information for those of US who do use it.Because I know the crap that goes on on Facebook, and in no way do I want this respectable forum associated with that free-for-all.
A prudent navigator relies on ALL sources of information.

Re: FACEBOOK
My business deals with people that live in facebook. Used to be myspace. That flopped. Google is trying to kill FB with google +
It is all over my head. I have a fan page because of my business and I cannot really figure out what is available to do that attracts people. Billions of people on interactive sites like FB and older tech sites like vbulletin sites like this one are becoming less and less traveled. Such is life I guess.
I am still miffed Microsoft dropped front page as a web design software, and that was about ten years ago. People building web sites today have never heard of it, and I still use it.

Re: FACEBOOK
Facebook, like the Internet is full of garbage. Then there is the Macgregorsailors.com web site and if you keep your friends list friendly, facebook is a great tool to stay in touch with people. The over 40 demo is the fastest growing on facebook. And there are several Mac groups on there (not affiliated with this forum) and a some good folks who are not teenagers.GaryMayo wrote:My business deals with people that live in facebook. As for business. It's 2011 and in this economy I've learned to work the technology of the day. I've advertised and will again soon on facebook. Zuckerberg can make money on me as long as I can target my audience demographic spot on and drive customers to me.
Yea, I'm the guy who Tweets, Blogs and Facebooks our company into the 21st century. It has it's place.
Oh yea, and you can see what your kids and their friends are really doing.
