Call Roger. Really? If everytime someone wanted to wrench an old Mac, he was called, he would get nothing done.
I think my boat upgrade will be a two phase project. Phase one, fasten things on in a temp fashon to get a look and feel. If it passes that phase, get more serious and start cutting. That will allow me to build it more than once, and move things about as needed, to get it right for the final.
Sounds a little like calling Coke up and asking them advice on putting Mentos tablets in.
I thought about calling Blue Water and asking the price of a steering colum and hardware, but I figured it would be more of a challange to build my own. Parts (not boat parts) are on the way, and I have built it already in my own mind. If I never put it on a boat, it will be fun to make. I might make a few and sell em on eBay.
