They are well on their way now.............
Weve made it to Dominica and are about to set sail for the next crossing. With the exception of Martinique, every port is full of homes/ bldgs that make the Barber St. ( an 1880's Salt Box he and I rehabed) look like the Taj Mahal! I hope the setting on the camera is correct, as I am taking many pictures. I wish it was waterproof too, because some of the crossings would be great on film. Never have I been in such waves. Not seas, waves.
We look up at them as we climb up the front at a sever angle then turn into them to slide down the back. The crew wanted to take them on at a ninety degree, and then we would bury the nose in the next wave, I protested, lets do it the easy and as an old power-boater would do it!! So the last two crossings I have been at the tiller, which is easier on me than the constantly trimming the sail's, which always needs to be done.
