They are well on their way now.............

Weve made it to Dominica and are about to set sail for the next crossing. With the exception of Martinique, every port is full of homes/ bldgs that make the Barber St. ( an 1880's Salt Box he and I rehabed) look like the Taj Mahal! I hope the setting on the camera is correct, as I am taking many pictures. I wish it was waterproof too, because some of the crossings would be great on film. Never have I been in such waves. Not seas, waves.
We look up at them as we climb up the front at a sever angle then turn into them to slide down the back. The crew wanted to take them on at a ninety degree, and then we would bury the nose in the next wave, I protested, lets do it the easy and as an old power-boater would do it!! So the last two crossings I have been at the tiller, which is easier on me than the constantly trimming the sail's, which always needs to be done.

Yay! I am sure one or two of them will be planning something bigger and the others may never sail again :)

Well they all seemed to have had a good time over all..
Don my brother the power boater, did say.. His Shamrock would have made it ( provided he could get fuel) but it would have been a terrible trip!
He was no less than amazed, at how well that 32 footer took everything that nature threw at it and took it at times better than the crew did.
Sailing is not his cup of tea as its just too s -l -o -w . . . Hes a Scuba Hunter and just needs to get Out There and Back more quickly..
Down side for his boat is, at today's cost for fuel it is about $2 a mile to move his boat..
He may, be going back to address a few issues with the boat. It really needs a swim platform among other things..
Don has been on my :macm: a few times and since the ending of this Adventure, he has said... Rich you just don't appreciate your standing headroom enough.. 3 weeks bent over every-time your down below gets to be a PITA...... :x
Next trip may well be Puerto Rico and some day.. St. Croix to Port Charlotte or at least The Florida Keys..
