So you have tried to unscrew the lens? Maybe pry it out.

My guess is the lens snaps in and you will find a bulb underneath. Looks like 2 holes in the back to run wires.

If they are halogens then what your looking at is only the housing unless you can see the lamp in there. Halogens are usually small and they screw into the back side of the big "holder" - the "holder" is actually the reflector assembly and lens and all that stuff. After the halogen bulb is screwed into the back of the reflector assembly the whole thing is then usually considered a "light bulb" or lamp and then all that might go into a fixture.

You need to get the "holder" (reflector assembly) out of the fixture so you can get to the back of the reflector and see if there is a little halogen lamp screwed into the back of the reflector assembly. Usually there will be two tabs on the "o'ring" (It's actually a 'collar') and if you squeeze those tabs together they will come out of the slot they are in and the whole thing should come out.

just buy a couple of thes to attach to the spreaders. Instant daylight!

LEDs make so much more sense on a boat than incandescent or halogen. However, he already bought these.

My guess is the lens pops out to reveal the bulb.

problem with super bright white lights is they really draw a lot of bugs @ night , re thats why I went with the blue leds

The nice thing about LEDs is they don't emit UV. Therefore they attract fewer bugs.

Hey, that's a great idea. I doubt the eBay seller will return them, but eBay sellers are so worried about their reputation, it might be worth contacting them and say, "I don't want to write a bad review about the lack of directions, so could you explain how to wire these things?"

I found most eBay sellers respond quickly to questions.

Yes, that is a good idea, when the guys at GPS city found out I wrote a bad review here they were all over it to get the issue fixed with my chartplotter - I even got a call from the owner of the company. They were bending over backwards so much to help me after that I was apologizing to them for writing the review.

The people who sell on the internet are VERY responsive to bad reviews on the web. Tell them you are asking your friends on a huge sailboat website for help. Tell them the website is dedicated to the most numerous sailboat ever sold in the entire world and you are asking them for answers you can't seem to get the the seller.

I bet they will help you.
