Our '05 M has a roller on the bow for the anchor so have been using that. I'm not even sure if that's a stock feature or if BWY included it as part of the package. Either way, it's there and is a nice feature.
If you got the standard BWY anchor package you have the 13# Danforth equivalent anchor. If you are anchoring in mud or sand with not too many weeds or rocks the Fortress or Guardian aluminum anchor will work really well and it weighs less than 1/2 of the steel one.
