I (like Tom) had the same polarity neutral anchor light. I didn't want to buy another deck fitting and run another pair back to the panel in the cabin. So a simple diode in the circuit at the fixture "corrected" the polarity neutral problem.

I'd post a photo of my panel switch, but photobucket has turned into the devil this month.
