I also have an 11 3/4 x 10 3-blade aluminum like Time Warp. I don't think it is the "stock" prop - it sets my Honda BF50 up just right at max rpm for w.o.t.

I've not seen the symptoms you all are reporting here. I do find that the engine cavitates very easily if I try to turn too sharp at higher rpm, but I don't find that unusual. I can run at w.o.t. with or wothout ballast.

One thing, though - my motor does not sit all the way down, the pin is in the second hole. Originally the pin was in the lowest hole, and if I remember correctly the engine did tend to cavitate more - it also pressed the nose down too much (pressing the nose down lifts the stern, too). I tried it in several holes and decided that the second one gave me the best overall results, though this was with my water tank up in the "V", I guess I should recheck it now that I moved 160# from the bow to the stern ... ymmv.

Well, I had the propeller hub rebuilt at WM ($25, took two days). Tried it out today and it works fine...No spinning, even at 5100 rpm's. Problem solved. Thanks for all the help.

Thanks for following up on this, Lloyd. Wish my problem was that simple.
