Well, for the record. The spreader is not going to break, its just going to bend over. The spreader aluminum seems to be much stronger (thicker) than the mast aluminum..which snaps like a tree branch after bending only a few inches.If the spreader is overloaded, I'd prefer the spreader itself break to the next weakest link, which is bound to be way more expensive.
