SURV69,

The refrigerator is a 12 volt ADLER BARBOUR vertical evaporator type built in. Not large by comparisson to my home fridge, but it will hold half a dozen 6 packs a couple gallons of milk and a number of water bottles.

The evaporator tub I hate to describe as a freezer. It won't hold ice cream frozen hard. At the same time it tends to freeze the other contents of the fridge in random patterns. I've found broken 2 litre bottles of ice tea twice due to freezing. Now I make sure it's plastic only.

I think I need one of those computer fan mods to circulate the air for more even cooling.

"I think I need one of those computer fan mods to circulate the air for more even cooling."

Camping World and other RV outlets sell a single D cell battery operated unit to circulate regrig air that works well for a week on one battery. I use that in the Fridge.
I use the computer fan to help ventilate the mechanicals by forcing air circulation over the tubing and radiator to the outside. The cooler the mechanicals, the better it works.
