Mat we stupidly forgot our baby stays recently and did the same thing. I just moved the mast back in place which essentially straightened out the mast foot.

You know I don’t know if it is your grammar or is the drugs that I am on right now. I am having a little difficulty interpreting what you meant by this little bit that I can make out that you wrote:

Nope... When it comes to dresses, I'll let the Air Force and Army guys do all the talking.

Wow. I did not know the baby stays were so important - I will make sure I always use them.

Urgent call. I have called Vic's cell left a message. The message reads I will not make it. I have been working hard with a hurt back the last two days trying to get First Step ready to go. One problem after another I fixed until I ran the engine and found the impeller not good and too late to get a new one. Sorry will not be able to make it. I plan on coming out Saturday by car for dinner.

We really had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone. Even motoring in the rain with 3-4 ft seas was a walk in the park for ole "Storm Walker" :o . The country is beautiful and the sailing was nice. Also enjoyed Saturday sailing with spinnaker and when the wind decided to quit blowing even the spinnaker we all jumped in the water for a cool dip  . As usual with our weekends Sunday was the best day for sailing with nice winds and calm seas :D . Wish we could have stayed longer :( but alas the real world was calling us back. We want to thank Tony and crew for putting this shindig together.
Maybe next year Ya'll can make it down south to our next Southport sail. 8)

:D Thanks to all that attended the 2013 MUCKA. The weather threw us a curve this year. Twelve hours prior the forecast went from great to torrential down pours with flood warnings, high winds and raging seas. Nauti Time & D’Lei aborted the 15 mile rendezvous at Sandy point and went back to WRM safe harbor. With such rough seas it was best to cancel the HMI trip and just stay at SPSP in safe harbor since most people were there or close to it. Luna Sea (east) I’m sorry you missed the memo. The ranger at Sandy Point was very nice and due to the unsafe conditions on the Bay allowed to stay overnight.
This was a great group and we made the best of a wet windy situation. D’Lei & Nauti Time drove down to meet up with the group while Luna Sea (East) torpedoed through the high seas to HMI. We commandeered a large pavilion at the park for our picnic and that worked out great.
The next morning, Saturday was definitely a new day, sunshine mixed with clouds, lite winds and smooth seas. I motored down early in to meet-up with the group and we got a few hours of nice spinnaker sailing in before the dead calm arrived. Then, like Ron said earlier it got so hot and we were going no were so we jumped in the middle of the Bay for a swim. We motored the rest of the way to Rock Hall to find the Sail Emporium Marina to be a beautiful accommodating marina. I think all would agree this was a well-maintained marina with nice craftsmanship, beautiful flowers, large clean bathrooms, swimming pool and grilling area. Thanks Vic & Erik for help with the food run and grilling and many others that helped with the preparation and clean up. The pool turned out to be the focal point of the party and worked out great, of course the late night dock party was fun too.
Sunday morning we took a group photo although about 10 people were missing because they had to leave early, not to mention how difficult it can be gathering people for a photo. Next time I will have to take it associated with free food and booze. The winds were light coming from our destination and seas calm so the sailing was slow. The Chesapeake has many faces and I’ve seen it change in minutes. At 2pm it was back to good sailing for me. I met up with Nauti Time about mid bay and sailed back to WRM.
I hope all had a good time and made it home safely. Matt and family it was great meeting all of you. Thanks for joining us from San Diego and have a safe trip home. 8)

I have lots of pictures although it seems they are always taken looking aft off my stern, :D I will try and post to Photobucket with a link latter today.

Thanks,
Tony, AKA D’Lei, TFlight :macm:
