Well how about that it worked fantastically. G'day everyone my name is Andrew and l'm from Hobart In Tasmania, Australia. I've had my

Mac for three years now and think it's the best thing since sliced bread. I have owned a number of powerboats over the years, they all have their good and bad points. So far the Mac has had more good than bad. Last season I had the boat in the water for a total of 88 days straight, I did 496 nautical miles in the sailing season and I used 2 x 25 Litre tanks of fuel. You've got to be happy with that, my last powerboat at way open throttle used 77 Litres an hour, and at 3500 revs it used around 30 L per hour. In the mac, I start the motor, take it off the mooring point it into the wind, hit the autopilot, raise the main and can sail for the rest of the day and have probably used less than a cup of fuel. Its also so very comfortable to overnight in, with the rounded bottom it's so quiet down below, no noisy chines to catch any little waves and echo them through the boat. My boat is not anti fouled at all, every weekend I take it into the shallow water, fix one end of the boat to the jetty and the other to my anchor, then I get a soft bristle broom and clean underneath the boat removing any slime or anything on it, it seems to work fine. I sail single-handed 99% of the time and have set my boat up with things that help me out, all sheets go to the cockpit sail bag with lazy jacks on the main, furling head sail,auto-helm, 120 W solar panel mounted on the mast crush, two deep cycle house batteries and one starter. All lights are LED with dimmers on each. A 32 inch flat screen TV mounted above be table on a swing arm enables me to watch it in the rearberth. Anyway i'm going to try to put a couple more photos up of my boat . Oh yes and by the way (blue Macs kick arse)
