Thanks guys, we had a lot of fun. We totally should have gone out to PC....what did I tell yas? No storm was coming;-) Bwhaha!
At least not in this area.

I'll have to get some pictures up on here. Not the best of quality from a cell, but better than nothing;-)

A gorgeous view of Toronto and the CN Tower in the evening. The light show on that tower at night, coupled with the full moon, was just outstanding, but I didn't get a shot of it.



The Wall, with the boats of (near to far) Beene, tkanzler, Crikey, and StarSpun. The bugs weren't fun, but it was peaceful at night. Crickets rather than cars and drunks.

Now I understand why I don't usually see a lot of updates while these meet-ups are in progress. Speaking for myself, at least, I was living in the moment, unplugged from the information highway as much as possible (other than some communication with my kids), no TV, no forums, no internet surfing, and certainly no work (I even ignored a couple of incoming work calls ), rather than living vicariously through others as I tend to do when stuck here at work and behind a computer screen. It never even occurred to me to post some updates, as selfish as that probably comes across.

But a good time was had by all, well maybe not quite so much Highlander with serious engine trouble, and it was a trip worth making. Got to meet folks I only know through bits and bytes, and a few others that were leaving when I was getting there, or getting there when I was leaving, and I'm already looking forward to next year.

Oh, and a big thank-you to Beene for putting it together. It was a great trip worth doing again once the afterglow wears off.

Met up with everyone on their way to Toronto Island....saw the gang coming waaay out there and knew it was them!

There was no mistaking you (StarSpun), either, with those new JudyB sails with the unique artwork. Geoff sent me a text informing us that 'our host in Toronto' was off the port rail, and it took milliseconds to figure out which boat it was, coming straight at us. Then running around us under sail like it was nothing!

So was it the sails, or was it the sailors?
