Hey BK you can be sure if the investigation leads to a western union money gram going to the island I will speak boldly on the matter. The only place I ever gave that card to someone to pay the bill was Catalina at the restaurant. Ill never do that again. Its like giving someone your card and the pin number because the way visa treats the card as a sort of credit card too. All some one needs is the number and the security 3 digit number on the back and western union sends the money. Believe me if the crime points to harbor reef restaurant, they will get an earful from me.
Im going to the police tomorrow and make a report, I just now flew home from vegas, hopefully they follow up, cause western union told me they have the legit name and address of the recipient, but wouldn't tell me, only the police.
Western union is a dinosaur and needs to go out of bizz. They are the only ones that will process an order without a legit home address that is attached to the card that I know of, especially when 20 minutes before, visa denied the first try, the crook tried again. Amazing visa let it go through the second time. Like I said Ill get the money back, 90 days or so, but these people need to get caught
That engine, water waves does ride nice on the boat, we had the whole back bunk full of our stuff too when it was sitting there on the mooring, so we had a few hundred more pounds in the back than normal.
