My Mac, as well as the rest of the yard is covered in snow. We got hit twice in 9 days (about 4" each time) with about the same expected again this Friday. :( Where is all this global warming I keep hearing about :?: Temp has not been above 36 deg. in almost three wks, which is unusual for our area.

I'm afraid the Pacific Northwest got your share of global warming this year. Here in Washington State we had the warmest January on record. Temps at our house this time of year are usually mid 30's in the day, mid 20's overnight. In January and up to present we haven't dropped below mid 30's, even at night, for more than a month. My roof and yard usually still holds a couple of feet of snow this time of year, but this year we've already completely melted out, and everything is bare. In mid January I spotted a big flock of robins in the neighborhood. Sailing season should come early around here this year.

Buy the end of this wk-end you'll have enough snow to start making Igloo's ! :D :D :D :D

Seriously , Though it could get nasty , I see all the super market shelfs are mty in Wash. DC and they expect alot of people are going to be without hydro by this wk-end !!
Thats where these little LED lights come in handy run on double AA batteries I have them for the boat in the summer & keep them in the house over the winter for emerg. lighting
so maybe fill your gas & Propane tanks now do any of you's own a generator even one of these 1000,S are better than nothing lets you at least have some hydro lights at night run the fridge once in a while & run a small tv !

I guess the Mac can be used for a survival craft when all the lights go out and global warming makes the sea level rise or used as a sled with a really big dog team for you guys on the east coast.
Global warming is alive and well on the west coast, welcome to the Vancouver Olympics 2010 and no snow. They are trucking snow from Manning Park ,100 miles north, to Cypress bowl where some events are being held. The tempeture for the next few days is going to be 10C and rain blowing in, direct from Hawaii.

and global warming makes the sea level rise
If that happens, I live at the top of a large hill. The end of my driveway becomes my launching ramp :!:
