Thank you all for your comments. Sorry I did not reply earlier to all your suggestions, but work has been a grind. I sure hope it eases up some now that the weather on the Potomac is getting better. I'm getting my M26 out of the shop next weekend for having the Honda serviced and the trailer re-wired and cross-brace re-welded. Well I think that I will take the suggestion that most of you mentioned that I think I was lacking: Make sure I have tension on the sheet! I have the 1/4" configured the way Hardcrab recommended, but I will think hard about Verena's suggestion to put the small block on the pulpit to keep that 90 degree angle. Highlander, if all else fails and does not meet to my satisfaction I'l go for the Harkin 0, but maybe instead I could use that cask towards an autopilot!. Thanks everyone and have a good sail! I definitley recommend going for the CDI and using the money saved for the autopilot. Definitely happy with my autopilot.
