Since 2001 we have propped up the forehatch lid with one of 2 sticks (shorter or longer). Mosquito cover is limp mesh sreening with weight sewn into the perimeter, which drapes over the open lid, and works with either stick. Cheap. Easy.

I installed one very similar to this . It has served us well for years , but the pivot bolt broke so I did a little creative drilling and installed a 10/32 SS bolt in it with a nylon locknut so it can pivot . Working great !

I have a similar one but never installed it due too the fact that it doe,s not split into two allowing u to fully open the hatch if needed !
