When I sit at the helm, sure looks nice seeing 3 sets of white mast stays coming off each side
Uppers, lowers, and mast raising system stays.

Definitely looks better than covering them with PVC pipe IMO.
You remember how many feet you had to buy? I'm curious how much it would cost to cover everything.

Why cover the mast raiser baby stays - unless you are leaving the mast raiser in place? Personally, I much prefer my new dynema baby stays.

4 per side for life lines
2 per side for shrouds
1 per side for baby stay of mast raising system
13 in total

I do not have a slip
I launch and recover boat same day most times
As a result, I am raising and lowering the mast daily
So I decided to just leave the raising system attached to save time
The only time I take it off is when I am planning to stay rigged for an extended period of time

I use mine the same - tried leaving the mast raiser in place the first several times. Found I was damaging my mast where the upright mast raiser hit the mast and it is also in the way of the foresail. Instead, I make it real easy to install and dismount by using 3 snap shackles (1400 lb rated, cost only $17 each at WM) and a quick pin at the base - no tools. The dynema baby stays just make this better.
Bottom line, the mast raiser is not intended to be left in place when sailing.
