Buoyancy calculation?

I've been following this thread and it seems like the Australian calculation doesn't include the extent to which foam will become waterlogged. Open cell foam is less dense than closed cell foam, for example, but everyone seems to think closed cell is better for floatation.

Is there a number that anyone knows of which specifies how much water waterlogged open vs. closed cell foam displaces per unit volume (ft2, m3, etc...) of foam.
