I had a friend named Floyd (WB6TRE) who had a van - a big long econoline and I had a short one. I used to travel with Floyd back in my twenties (he was in his fifties then so I learned a LOT from him), and he tried and tried to teach me CW so I could get my operators license but I never got good enough cuz I'm just a stupid troll. He installed a 2 meter rig in my van just so we could talk to each other while we were on the road. I was not allowed to talk on it very much because I had no licence but I could listen all I wanted. I could say "yes", "no" or key the mic. Floyd was real smart - he could fly airplanes and do all kinds of stuff but he was not one for the water.

Last time I did Mulege was a long long time ago with my folks on their Aquarius:

There wasn't much there back in those days. I really like all the parts of Baja - I liked Mulege a lot - I still like La Paz - but Cabo is off my list now because of how it looks now. Last time we went to Mulege we sailed accross from Guaymas. Man, I wonder what it would be like to retire in Mulege!?

Perhaps she knows more than you do :)

Of course she knows more than me - she is a female.
