Its seems a shame that this thread would be auto-trimmed. Perhaps we need a forum for travel/cruising information. Or perhaps Events and Venues would be the apprpriate place for such a thread. :)

I am going to be cruising for 18 months and this could be over 300 pics. Trying to keep downlaod speeds down and not to overload my free picture servers. I tried to go with long links. It does not work sometimes. Working on the problem. I should get it solved by 1 Jan.

Hi James,

Great pictures. Will you be cruising further south, out of Little Harbor, or is that going to be your turn around point? We got that far before heading back. It was a pretty windy spring for us when we were there, and that next leg out of Little Harbor looked rather uncomfortable.

For a good account of cruising from Florida to the Bahamas, check out "Brian and Stephanie Cruise The Bahamas." It is an 8-part series, well written, and with great photos. Try to keep track of how many bikinis Stephanie took on this trip. The link starts here.

Thanks a heap for the link, Bransher, I just spent two hours of my worthless time until 1:15AM being envious of all the pics and counting bikinis (I counted 11 different ones).

Where do people get the wevos (sic?) to do stuff like this? In a 25 foot boat yet (although it appears to be well equiped) (how would I know?).

I'm sure they'll take more cruises and remember them forever - - - quite an adventurous young couple :!:

Every man on this board should think about a trip like that..... at least onece in his life.

Every time I read over that trip......

A woman that wants to spend a month with a man, working together, exploring, mostly naked.......

I am simply amazed.

Every one of us on here can be honest and admit...... It is a lot more than lack of money that keeps us from doing the same thing.

In my case it has nothing to do with money - - - is has to do with I would kill everybody on board from lack of knowledge and inability to fix stuff :(
(Would only be two of us on board though - - - guaranteed  )

My basic observation.....

There are too few women who value and believe in sharing that kind of time with a man, as well as have the grace, selfconfidence, and personality to do that trip well,

and maybe there are few qualified men to accompany them.

That kind of woman sure is not lining up to co-captain my summer trips...

Mrs KD,the Admiral aboard our vessel is absolututely all in on cruising the Bahamas for an indefinite period of time. We both love the Exumas, and really, the only thing is the money. We have a plan and it's making progress,so we will be there. Probably 2 years away at this point. Until them we'll struggle through a week in Tortola on a bareboat charter.
Lucky me.

Thanks for the tips. I want to be able to post the big pics, 15 x 10 and photo shop does not allow it. Let me try a few different things.

I am going to stay in the Abacos for now. right now I am in Man of War Cay, a dry cay (no booze sold). Refreshing for a change.

I will try to get some pics up tomarrow.
