He belongs to Pierre my dock buddy. He bought it in New York 2 years ago. He really flies in his 22 and she is a good sailor. We race sometimes and she can really sail. This is his first season off a lake and he has learned to respect the Saint Laurence River with its windy bends, micro gusts and strong currents. He went out in heavy weather a few times and doesn't any more. She is a fine looking boat and in pretty good shape :!:

jimmy alonso!
Did you sail your Mac from Puerto Rico to the British Virgin Islands?
What a fantastic crossing that must have been. It's what? 70, 80 nm?
Puerto Rico looked so nice to me; pretty , clean, maybe overcrowed
but WARM.

Indulgence

Because the Virgin islands are east of us and the trade winds come from the east so I just motor there and sail back and in between the islands.
Its not that far round trip From Farjardo (east coast of PR) to Virgin Gorda about 200 nm.The trip went like this Fajardo to Culebra about 20 nm then to Saint Thomas 17nm to St. John 10nm then the BVI's are 5 or 10 nm between each. Would of liked to gone to Anegada but ran out of time. 14 day trip with wife and 2 daughters.

Image

This year trip in July only went as far as Culebra and stayed there 4 days and 4 in Fajardo. The 4th July weekend was really crowded. Glad Igrabbed a mooring bouy at Palomino cay on July 3rd and stayed put till monday.

PS: Fajardo area were Captain Ron movie was filmed.
