Sorry... Catigale and I just having a (admittedly very sick) joke about Aloha Airlines flight 243, wherein the top of the aircraft peeled back like a sardine can whilst in flight.

No need to apologize, I didn't even recall flight 243. I was just trying to figure out what the patent was :D

I was beginning to bite on that 24 ft boat story until I came to the anti fungal carpet part. My M def. does not have that. There are black stains that need cleaning monthly. Darned if I know how the fungus is getting there. It does not seem damp in that area.
I did like the wood trim package idea. I would have paid a bit more for that on my boat. Mahogany ply instead of regular ply and Formica finish.

Okay, I bit. I was unable to figure out how the open transom would work with the large rudder.

Has re-ignited all my schemes to mod an M though. I wonder if the factory would sell me a bare hull, no trailer, and how much they'd charge?

The government will only allow Roger to build one boat a day, and all the other boat builders moved out of California to beat that rule but Roger does not want to leave Newport Beach. (I don't blame him, I would not leave either). I can't see how to make any more money than to increase the price of the boat, or decrease the cost of building it (ie; make a smaller boat). The Moderators story had me going and I never figured it out, but now that I know about the carpet I won't be fooled again!!! :!: :!: (Now that I recall we never did have any carpet in ANY of the old boats! Now it makes sense!)
