If larger means more draft even a few inches, forget it.
I bought the whole package. Love the remote start ob. Yanked my shoulder on transom mounted engines way too many times.
I can trailer it and store it at myhouse. It launches and recovers easily. It has plenty of room. It sails fine, well, even when compared to like drafted cruising boats. It's simple and generally fixable. The build quality suits most users and I had intended to fix a few things that bugged me from the start. I've had very traditional looking boats all my life, so the modern styling caught my eye. Looks great with my blue paint trim.
The gel coat quality could be better but the type of use my boat gets is hard on finishes anyway.

:D :D No kidding…almost found a beach once that I was considering beaching on, but as we slowly moved in the admiral started spotting basketball sized rocks five feet off shore so the beach landing was aborted :(

yer braver than me bobbert--our( yours and ours) beaches are just too rough up here- as you well know, and besides the weather can change in a heartbeat- land when its calm, and the next incoming tide it could be a maelstrom, and smash your boat around some.
would sure love to do some boating down SE- would be amazing to pull up on an awesome, sunny, flat beach for some conjugal activities- maybe!! 8)

:D :D There are just a few sheltered beaches I am aware of around here. I'ver been trying yo get a bunch of Yukon inland boats down to the salt for a while with no luck. One day we will have to have a rendevouz somewhere aliong the inside passage. A Mac armada would look great going down the coast! :P
