I'm looking for a Pedestal Guard. I ideally straight but I could manage with an angled one. Anyone have or seen a used one for sale?
Thanks,
Shanker

Hi Seapup.
Do you have any of your 26X mast left?. I need a couple of short pieces for a mast project .
I think you you gave a piece to Best Breezes, was shipping a problem?. I think UPS accepts up to 8ft.
I have tried to buy some locally, but the suppliers want me to buy 30 feet at $25.00/ft plus shipping.
I am located in Southern Calafornia. Should I PM you with my sizes or talk on the phone?.
Many Thanks Bob.

Just passing this info along I found elsewhere. If you do a search there are posts on a bunch of boards about it. I am always a skeptic so I emailed navionics and it seems legit. I received a response from a Scott Walcott at Navionics, he said they would mail me a card so will see if they show up and how they compare to the Vision charts on my echomap. His email is his first initial and lastname at navionicsdotcom
This is posted on a bunch of different boards:
Navionics is releasing their "Sonar Charts for Garmin" at the start of the year. These will show 1ft. contours in coastal regions out to 80 ft (in addition to over 18,000 lakes). 80 - 250 ft depth will be 3 ft. contours and deeper than 250 ft. will be 6 ft. contours.
This will improve the data available on your Garmin chartplotter. Navionics is looking for people to try these chart chips out and get your opinion before the launch of the product.
Thanks for the tip. I emailed him and he put me on the beta testers list.

Hey Starscream,
I could use this. But instead of shipping it, we could meet up for coffee or beer? Or beer and then coffee? My in-laws are on the South Shore of MTL and we'll be there at some point over the holidays and we visit every so often. This could make for a great "escape" for me.

Taime1,
Sure, it's yours. I'll put it aside for when you come in to Mtl.
Would be great to meet up with you so just send me a PM a couple of days in advance. I more or less make my own work schedule so unless something critical comes up: anytime, anyplace.

Got my free Navionics Beta chip for my chartplotter today. Can't wait to see the new charts. Others in the Beta test group have had great praise for them.
Thanks for the tip Seapup.

I have an interest in this main sail, if it is still available.
Is it a doyle sail? Does it come with a sail bag?
Destination: Dayton, Nevada.

It's a Doyle sail. It is the stock M sail. It does have a bag. It looks almost new but is probably stretched out a bit. I'll get you a shipping price next week. The Repair could be done with a sailors needle and good thread, by hand in about an hour. Would be better then new. The fabric has some light dirt from general use thst would probably wash off.
It's at a local 2nd hand but I doubt they have sold it yet.

Mea culpa, mea culpa,
So, imagine my embarrassment having started this thread, to discover that I cannot find the Windex I've promised, and the winch I promised out had been tossed out by my wife. It was many hours of searching.
Sorry guys

I had a realization that you might need my
complete address to put together shipping cost.
I will send my address to you via PM, as soon as I
figure out how to operate it.

****SOLD****
Reviving another old thread.
Humminbird 386ci with internal GPS (no chart card, but it shows a basic GPS map). Transducer and paddle wheel. GPS gives speed-over-ground, transducer gives depth and temperature.
Paddle wheel has worked, but stopped a few years ago. On inspection when disassembling, the connection to the back of the unit was a bit loose, it could be just that or it could be dead.
If you want it just let me know, first come, first served. You schedule and pay for a UPS pickup and I'll print your labels, box it up, and leave it on the porch for the UPS driver. It's shipping from Canada, and I have no idea if there are duties to pay...doubt it since the value is zero but you never know.
Display and transducer worked fine when we packed the boat up last fall. No guarantees of course; your risk is the shipping cost. Send me a PM if you want it.
