I also use four of those auger style ground anchors. But I just use my dock lines to tie down the boat. Nice and tight and will keep the boat from moving in big winds...doubt it would survive a close hit by a hurricane but it will keep it from rocking in high winds.hart wrote:One other note: I use four of those straps tied to auger style ground anchors to keep the boat and trailer on the ground during hurricanes.
