Chip says:
You mean those double stacked windows in the front are fake?

At least the :macx:'ers have a good knowledge at what the :macm: stern looks like when they are racing :?
I may be wrong, but I believe some sailor named Frank M prevailed in a Mac Race not so long ago? :o Im wondering how the set of our headsails looked from the helm of his X?

Here we go again. :macm: vs :macx: and Moe didn't even start this one. Cm'on Moe, jump in. By the way, I received the keel today. It's sitting in its packaging in my office right now. I'm hoping to get a couple of friends to help me get it to the marina and lower it in the db slot. Then, if it doesn't rain this weekend, I'll be able to actually test-sail this baby. 8)

I would, but I'm speechless to find TT's defense of the X above. :D

Besides... I'm having too much fun watching the battery switch thread.

Gooday Moe!
I felt the need to give recognition for sailing and performing well; I was forced to relay the information from You Yours and Me Mine.
Franks Taking the Gun is as worthy as his X boat performance.

Thanks Moe

I think the M vs X debate in this thread is good natured joshing. I know all the theories, but we're short on actual head to head compettition results.

You could have jumped in there and saved me. Have we got it right yet?

Boy, I sure hope it gets warm enough for Stephen to go sailing soon...
...but sailing makes my "humor" worse.... :P

Got out yesterday and practiced tender handling in anticipation of some Cape Cod cruising this summer - had all four of us in the Sevylor blow up - a little cramped but we rowed 1/2 mile and back to practice. (Rated at 5 people and 800 pounds (dont know where you can put 5 people)

I have a 40FP Seagull for it but we just did rowing for this trip.

It really needs a small tiller for directional stability - we spun it several times when two of us paddled. The motor would fix that of course.
