I realize the majority of posters on this board own or , which is why, as I stated in one of my previous posts, I figured there would not be much info here directly pertinent to the older models.

Once I noticed the Venture/Macgregor heading under discussion boards, I was hopeful there would be a fair amount of buzz here about the older boats.

I also realize and appreciate the fact that much discussion in the powersailor forum is pertinent to all sailboats.

But with all due respect, I'm sure you can understand, I like to learn from others with the same boat, experiences they've had, mods they made, sources for parts, etc. I love my 26S!

I've read many post's for powersailors, and find them interesting, and sometimes I think I'd like to own an or (mostly , because they are more affordable ). But, it's a little hard to relate, because the boats are so different from what I own.

As I said in a previous post, I really like the Mac Mods Page, it's probably the best on the web! I wish there were more posts there for the older boats. Are they allowed/welcome there? What a fantastic resource it is!

Im sure that there are interests that are aplicable to all models,so pitch in and ask or answer,if a guy asks a question about an X,guys with an M often also pitch in with the answer .

so stick around buddy,im sure that there are other out there who sail your model

You can always go to the PUB and explain why you think guns are good/bad and what model Peter or Paul would have packed. That will get you admiral in no time.

Eh, I've been praising the Mac Mods Page here, and wouldn't ya know it, now it's down for maintenance/upgrades or something. But that's since yesterday. Anyone know what's going on
