Would appreciate any answers to the following question:

Need to replace the wire for the mast light as well as the male adapter that plugs into the boat? Does anyone have part numbers for this?

Also, I need to replace the pulley the the line for raising the dagger board runs through. The screws attaching it turn but I cannot get them to actually unscrew. Any thoughts?

Thanks.
Randy

Sounds like you have an M, replacing the mast wiring has been discussed in depth here
http://macgregorsailors.com/phpBB/viewt ... ast+wiring
and if you look at the liner (brownish fiberglass roof of cabin) under where the srews are you will probably see plastic hole covers that can carefully be removed to expose the back of the bolts.

I had found this link but what I need is the part number for male end of the mast light wiring that connects to the female end in the deck.

I can't find any hardwar for the pulley in the cabin. If there is some it must be hiddend by the galley area.

The mast light fitting is a point of failure. I suggest that you pull the wire out some and replace with a waterproof fitting.

Check with Bluew Water Yachts on the West coast for parts for the pully.

Chrome Plated Zinc Alloy

Item #: 201031

A great deal with one yeah-but. Gotta spend min 20 bucks. I needed life vest so worked for me.

Hope this helps,

Gary

That plug is perfect. I know I need Duplex wiring, but can you recommend what gauge to get?

I know wire size is determined by length and amount of power being consumed. I am sure others would know how to calculate but I used 12 guage boat tinned grade.

Randy, you may want to get a 4-prong plug since you may eventually want to add an anchor light.

Thank you all for the help on the electrical questions.

Can anyone help me with how to remove the block the the dagger line through for raising and lowering? I need to replace it. The screws turn but they don't thread out.

You need to go underneath and find the plugs in the liner, then hold the nuts on the bottom while a trusty assistant unscrews the bolts up top.

What kind of boat do you have??
