I recently asked for advice on Mac Insurance in Alberta. I received a reply from a board member in Calgary who recommended a broker. I saved the email message but now can't retrieve the message. Can someone help? I have searched everyway I can think of. Here is the email reply:

The text you quote is an automated response from the website when you have subscribed to a topic. The topic is still there if you click on the links. Other than that, I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

Click on your name and it will bring up your profile. Then just search your own posts.

I tried searching my user name for posts but strangely can't find the one I most recently added regarding "insurance".

I have since received a reply from the person who sent me the reply I was looking for. Thanks all.

I guess we just don't understand what the problem is. The links that you provided go to the topic and have the replies to your insurance question. You say that your saved the email message? The board does not save email, that is on your local hard drive. Perhaps you mean PM (Private Message)? If the other member sent you a PM that you saved, you can access those by going to your User Control Panel, or clicking on the (x new messages) in the light blue above. It should be in your inbox, or one of the other folders such as Saved Messages.

Yes, but the links that he provided in his first post in this thread lead directly to the original topic. But he mentioned an email message that he saved and cannot find. ????

Part of the problem I think is that the post was maybe moved to the Canada forum and he was not subscribed to it, so maybe he was getting error messages when trying to view it.

Mea culpa. I think I moved that one, as it made more sense to have it in the Canada forum than anywhere else. I don't always comment when I move something, but I suppose I should.
