Re: Trailer wiring urgent
I just went out and checked my 2001 trailer.
White = Ground
Green/Brown and Yellow/Brown = Tail Lights
Yellow = Left Turn
Green = Right Turn
Brake Lights are combined with turn lights.
Separate White Wire is brake solenoid lockout.
Hope this helps.

Re: Trailer wiring urgent
Rich: Found an earlier post referring to a wiring website diagram, and that seems to match up to what we have. We don't have a yellow/brown and a green/brown - just solid yellow, solid green and solid brown. Sound right to you? Thanks!

Re: Trailer wiring urgent
The soilid brown must be split afterwards on yours and go to the separate tail lights. Good luck.

Hammin X is correct. If you also have the surge brake system the fifth wire should be blue connected to your back up lights to disable your brakes when backing up.

school house Steve I thought you droped of the screen. You forgot to say - If you do not have a plug for the extra backup light put a nut from a bolt in the slot where the breaks slide and you can back up without any wiring, just hook it up if driving down the road.

Bubba,
I did drop off the screen. My Computer got a virus this summer and I had to start from scratch again. Meanwhile I've sailing as much as possible and installed several mods this year. I was out the same weekend as you and Hammin X but in the upper part of lake Wallua so I could tune my new HD TV to the local Tri-City stations.
