Back at the Annapolis sailboat show in Oct I ordered a set of EZ Jax, I could have saved the money and made my own system but for a number of reasons I decided to buy these, number one is the habbit I have of not completing one project before wandering off on someting else :P I was told that it takes about 4 to 6 weeks to make and ship the system. OK I could wait that long, should be in before Thanksgiving.

Along about the first of December I called to see when they would be shipped as we were planing on talking the boat to FL for Christmas. I was told that they should be shipped by the end of the next week, they had to wait for some backordered parts, no problem I could still get them installed before leaving for FL if the weather held. Two weeks later I received an email that some other problem came up and could they ship to us in Fl? I told them not to bother I did not want to be trying to install them away from home and run into the possiblity of having to buy tools that I was sure I would forget. That was the last I heard from them. Mid December.

After many phone calls, answered only by an answering machine, emails all with no reply. I finally received the jacks today, no word of why they were so late or any kind of apologe.

They may be a good product but I do not think I'll deal with this vendor again unless I'm given some kind of expaination.

Bummer!
I've heard it's a good system, and I love fabricating stuff.
I've looked before but not found any details on what they're about...
Some pix would be cool...
Cheers

Sounds like a backyard operation.
