Need Honda 50HP Manual Recommendations

Post by PeteC »

I have a Honda 50 HP motor.

Does anyone have the HONDA OUTBOARDS 1978 - 2001, 2-130 HP Repair Manual by SELOC MARINE?

Is this manual worth getting , or is there a better manual available for this motor?

I want to be able to do basic items like repace the water pump impeller.

I have the 78-99. It is helpful for your repairs. The only thing I don't like is that it covers all Honda outboards, so the instructions are sometimes a bit confusing.

If it's a four stroke and you're still in need of a manual I believe I have one at home. I upgraded my 40hp to a 90hp, both 4-strokes, and I know I kept the manual. Not sure which company wrote it, but I'll check, let you know, and if you want it I'll sell it to you at a give-away price.

If you're interested, contact me at [email protected] and make sure you put "Honda Manual" as the subject so I don't think you're some slimy spam-meister and delete the message without even reading it.

Thanks

Bert, you may be getting even more spam by posting your email address on a web page  I suggest you may want to edit your post and just ask people to push the email button under your name. That is specifically designed to foil the spam bots.
