Aluminum, Tandem, Torsion Axle Trailer

I've been researching a new trailer for salt water use and am getting close to getting off the pot. I'll problably canabalize the old, rusty Mac trailer and reuse the newer SS disc brakes, etc. Does anybody know of a use for a Mac trailer without wheels and maybe without brake actuator/coupler?
if you add a bed to it and of course leave the wheels, I'm not sure. Do keep us all posted on what you decide to replace it with.
