New owner for SV " Inspiration " we deliver our Mac 26M next week to Blane WA to a couple from Vancouver BC. These folks are new to sailing so be nice to them. Were loving being Live Aboards on our 02 Gemini 105MC sv 'We Be Jammin' and in June were crusing down the Columbia River and north up the WA Coast to the Salish Sea for the summer in the San Juan Islands.

Fair winds, and stay safe. Dont become a stranger to your Mac friends.
Maybe you could do the Mac forum a favor >> encourage the new "M" owners to introduce themselves ASAP, as Mac'iers.

Haven't heard from you since I visited you and your wife on your new boat at Clover Island. I"m impressed! :D :D Congrats on the quick sale of your Mac 26 M . Hope to take up your offer to crew with you when needed. Also if you need to borrow a trailer-able to go back to those northern Idaho lakes or where ever I'm willing to trade boats with you. :D

:? :? Here is the story of the road trip to Blaine WA and back with the boat and kept the $500.00 nonrefundable deposit. We had a smooth drive pulling our Mac with our 2010 350 Ford van and pulled in to beautiful Burch Bay just south of Blaine and found us accomidations with secure parking for the boat while we went for dinner and scouting the boat launch where we were to meet the folks from Vancouver BC. Dinner went great at the Beach House on Burch Bay beach and the sunset over the Vancouver Island mt was great and my Wife will let that dinner pass as a Valintine dinner KEWL. We met the next morning and after a short cruse with no wind we pack up and brought her home. The folks are really new with sailboats and boats altogether over 15 ft or so, so they agreeded and in about 15 min disagreeded and didn't want her ( something about the admiral having a panic attack. I got some one coming by Sat after next from Portland and there bringing a MacGregor owner with them, maybe they have at least been on a Mac and other sailboats before and wear some nonmarking shoes too. Now back to cleaning black marks off the cockpit AARRRGGGGGGGG Trying to keep the boat clean AARRRGGGGGGG

I like the fact that your next prospect is bringing a Mac owner with them - - - I think that at least makes them serious buyers and probably more knowledgeable. The Mac owner may be a PITA, but so be it - - - positives outweigh the negatives. Good Luck, Sir!

:D :D There's a new MacGregor 26M owner from Portland Or as of this afternoon. We will deliver the boat next week some time when the weather is good so we can set it up for them. I'll tell him about this site be nice to him.

Loving sailing our Gemini 105MC the 200% screecher head sail is the greatest in light air 8)
