What should I pay for a Venture 22

I am looking at buying a venture 22 locally and want to know if 1400 is too much for the boat + trailer + working electric motor, and the boat is in decent condition, just a few spider cracks in the top gel coat. Is this a good deal or should I offer 1000 or something else? the boat is currently in the water and is dry on the inside.

my $.02's worth:
In the water-fresh or salt? How long? Have you seen the bottom? Blisters?
How is the keel/keel bolt/keel cable?
Sails-inventory? Condition?
How's the standing/running rigging?
Any of these things can add up quickly and make that good buy not so good....

Depends on all of the above plus the condition of the trailer.
Does the boat have a pop top? If so, it's actually a 222 and is a little more desirable.
The real biggy is to check that keel for delamination. If the fiberglass is cracking, it means a need for repairs.
It only comes with an electric motor, though? How many horsepower?
If it's a basic non-poptop 22, and the boat and all of its sails and equipment are in good shape, I'd offer $1000 to $1200.
