I might be interested, what is it? Could be a good sea trial for my new to me Mac 26D. Are you planning on sailing over or motoring? I'll understand if your answer is "yes".

That's an interesting idea, I have no dog but I love any trip to The Isthmus for a Buffalo Milk at The Harbor Reef Restaurant.
I normally motor over, leaving my mast in the side yard. I find the forestay takes a serious shock load when I get up around 16 knots. Also, it takes that extra half hour at the launch ramp and raises the center of gravity causing more rocking if the chop gets up at night. You can now make reservations online for a mooring at Two Harbors, paying with a credit card. I like this idea because you know for certain that you have a mooring and right where it is. The random nature of getting a mooring on arrival makes it difficult to register your float plan. If there is a lot of interest I'll try to meet you all there.
