Hi...I'm a new comer to the site and have a Mac 23 Newport...I just bought her and she ships a tad of water into the aft bilge near the steps over a few days thus indicating a slow weep from God knows where......not much but annoying...(I am a nut for perfection and leaks aint a good thing) My concern is that it may be in the area of the keel trunk since her topside fittings seem pretty well bedded with no other evidence of leakage on the bulkheads etc...are these boats known to ship a tad of water or should I haul her ands pour dye into the aft bilge to see is there is a stress crack in the hull around the keel trunk...all advice werlcome...tips on how to find hull leaks? thanks lads...pretty girls, tight sheets and hard sails to ya!
