I am still looking to buy a used Mac 26x - came across one that has Blue paint trim instead of the standard black !! Anyone else see one like this ??? Oh yeah. the serial no. is MACX0083E595 - which tells me it is hull #83 of the 1995 breed !? It looks really sharp - distinctively different !!

Hello:
I don't know if this is what you are talking about but Blue Water Yachts sold boats the first year with an accent stripe (boat show special). It was a decal they applied at the dealer. You can see an example here. Mind you, it is in addition to not in replacement of the black stripe.

I added vinyl striping to my boat after I bought it... it really makes it look faster... :)

The blue stripe makes it look like it goes faster but slows it down so it doesn't plane
