MacGregor 25 shower

Has anybody out there installed a shower inside the cabin of a Mac 25? I’ve pretty much finished customizing mine for comfortable long-range cruising, and the last thing I’m missing is an indoor shower. Unfortunately, every notion I come up with ends up landing just the wrong side of ridiculous. Has anyone done this successfully?

I've thought about how I would shower on my 23', and the conclusion I came to was either sponge bath or tarp up the stern of my deck and use a hand pumped pressure sprayer. Wish I had more to offer you here. I'm always on the wrong side of ridiculous

So, don't let me discourage you.
Btw, saw the mods you made to your galley. It looks great.

Thanks. Your solution is the only one I’ve been able to come up with myself. I just wondered, with all the mod geniuses on this site, if someone had managed to solve that particular challenge.

hand pumped pressure sprayer.... Ridiculous nothing, that is brilliant! I need to find a black plastic one for solar hot water.

That's what I have, and I really like it. Also good for hosing down the boat.

Another option would be using the galley stove to heat in a pot and fill sprayer or leverage the black container to warm up in the sun.

Our mac is an

. We originally started down a path thinking that we would convert the head area to wet location where we could also shower. But it is so tight in there you can't really stand up, and steam inside the boat is not the best thing... so we decided to just have a Transom shower. We added forced water to the boat so we could just open a valve and not have to manually pump the water. There are a number of hot water solutions on this site this is the one we selected:
When we installed it a few years ago it was the newest thing on the market, so far it has held up nicely for the $150 investment we made, and they same unit is available all over the place - so it must be good?
Here is how we installed it on our boat:

Chris...having that unit on the transom violates every yacht code code of aesthetics I have ever read...I love it!

I was actually thinking about this. The only real place to do it the cockpit would be under the pop top. You could drop a curtain from the top and put a drain at the bottom to the bilge?

It violates the code of aesthetics right up until it's used properly, at which point nobody would care
what the heater looks like.
Of course, I won't be posting any pics of me on the deck taking a shower, since the list of aesthetic code violations is essentially endless.
