Hi all, my trailer is going to be towed by somebody without the reversing lights wired up to the trailer connector

- can any kind person out there provide the dimensions of the little metal inserts used to provide a mechanical overide on the Mac trailer (the PO must have lost them.)

My boats is 4 hrs away so I need to make them up from dimensions.

Cheers all.

I thought you could use a coin - forgot which one. Of course, it will fall out when you pull forward. You can also position the plug so the parking lights activate the lockout solenoid.

That's how mine is now, with an inline plug to the solenoid so it only locks out when I want it to. But my new tow vehicle has the 7-blade RV type socket, and a new pigtail has been ordered so I can use the backup light lead to deactivate the brakes.

But using the running lights works just fine, of course, as long as you remember to unplug the solenoid when driving at night or in the rain. :|

Edit: Which doesn't answer the OP's question, of course, but it's all I've got. Hopefully someone will chime in with dimensions. Or perhaps a call to the manufacturer of the coupler is in order. Or, speaking of order, maybe the lockout key can be purchased from the coupler manufacturer, but if it's just a sliver of metal, that shouldn't be necessary I wouldn't think.
