We went there to watch our oldest play college summer baseball (Edenton Steamers) a few years ago, and I spent a fair bit of time at the little marina or public dock where the lighthouse and park are. Wishing I had a boat there. In the worst way.

Nice little town there, if more than a bit far from any city.

Dinner somewhere in town.

Saturday
Raft up for an on-board dinner, with a dish to share.
Enjoy the fireworks for the night.
Break up the raft and head for dock or anchor...or not... your choice.

Sunday
Sail back.

Storm Walker plans on being there. I am in the process of trying to find someone to cover for me Friday evening.

Great. Maybe Bobby (80 years old) an her daughter Julie will attend with their 26D. Get a ride on it. Super fun.

Any possibility that slack Billy may show?

Tried calling Edenton Harbor and they said they are full up. They gave us a number for Edenton Marina 252-482-5343. I will call in the morning to see if they have any room.

I just got off the phone with Edenton and found out that Scotty Harold can accommodate us.
They are located at 621 W. Queens St.
Phone: 252-337-5515.
He's sounds like a real nice and helpful guy.
He told me just to call him a day or two before we get there and he can accommodate us. I would suggest calling now just to make sure.
Almost forgot. rates are $1.00/foot/night=26.00 and he has electricity and water.

When I called the number I posted before for the Edenton Marina he said he could not accommodate us due to the bridge.

Couple of questions:
1. The address on Queens St. is in the middle of town... where's the docking area?
2. We are launching at Edenton Marina... did it before, there is no bridge in the way that I can see?

I still have my reservation at the harbor, the breakwater wall is open, but it is first come first serve, no reservations.

No electricity on the breakwater. Not for me. Need AC!

I'll call and see if they will allow generators in that area. Need to park down wind.

From Google maps:

Try for the breakwater with generators then anchor out it not allowed.

Ron and Bobby don't have generators anyway.

I called 3 different places and they are all in the same general area. The number for Scotty Harold above has electricity and water hook up. I can't say where it is cause I cannot give an exact location. He will have to provide that for us. He knows we are coming in with trailers and need place to launch and park for the weekend. I googled all the places and they come up in the same location so I am bamboozled.

Called Scotty and left a message. Private cell number no answer.
