We will be there next year. Bring you boat over. Or just come over and you can crew on my boat. They do a realy good job. We had a good showing there, Wings took 1st, I took 2nd, Ther was a stupid fast Catalina 25 there that did really good and took 3rd, Crazy Horse should have gotten 2nd but has a couple of bad races. Bumped the committee boat one racy DSQ, Then they left their whisker pole expanded and it was 2 ft fwd of the bow and got called over early. Would of had a perfict start if it was not for that.

That sounds like a plan! Canyon Lake was where I cut my teeth learning to sail my Prindle 16 Cat back in '87.
I hope I can remember that far in advance! I'd love to haul Mistress there and rub elbows with some other Mac sailors.
Is the LCYC near Jacobs Creek and the AFRC Campgrounds?

I will remind you! If you brought yours there that would make 5 classics probably. There is another S model that comes there.

Some of them are fast. After 8 years of work I have my S dialed in real close. Now it is up to the Skipper.

As a note to all sailing on Canyon Lake; we have just received a warning of possible infestation by zebra mussels in Canyon Lake.
Apparently, the threat is coming from the north on boats that haven't been cleaned or properly dried. Guaranteed, this is pretty far south for that species, but a bottle of clorox for the bilge may be recommended after the regatta.

Well that sucks!!! However if it is infested then next year I do not have to worry about drying and treating my boat out when coming down.

Grady,
You may want to send an e-mail, or a PM as a reminder. “My Mistress” may not view this site with any regularity.
