Does anyone know where i can get larger than a 6 gallon tank that will fit within the fuel lockers on my 2001

?
I currently have a 9 gallon tank that i can get in and out as well as a 6 gallon that is new, but the 9 gallon is no longer available and it has seen better days. I want to have larger range and would like to have 2 larger tanks (at least 9 gallons each). I do not want to cut the fuel locker opening larger unless absolutely needed nor do i want to put an access hole for filling tanks through the cockpit seats. Any help would be much appreciated.

This post shows 2x6 gallon Neptune fuel tanks in an unmodified fuel locker. I like the flexibility this gives.

I have the 12 gal Moeller 630013LP tanks in mine. But I did have to widen the holes about 1/2 inch in each direction in put in access panels. Since you don't want to modify anything the 2x 6 gal tanks seem the way to go. For how much cutting I've done on my boat since I got it, the mods to put in the tanks were pretty quick and easy in comparison.

i have a big long narrow tank in sb side of berth under cockpit . i dont need more than 150 cm wide sleepingspace - but i needed the fuellockers for other stuff . its also positive With low placed weigth for better Balance . i also have a big battery placed aft of berth and weigthed centerboard filled With led . so find a long tank and secure it well in side of berth . there are also Space for a wastewatertank .

We put in a 12 gallon tank on each side. They were new in 2015, and they expand instead of venting. At some psi they are supposed to vent. They have expanded so many times, to remove them I will have to cut them out. The access rectangles had already been cut and I just squared them up to fit the tanks. We put them in with the fill hole toward the center of the cockpit so we never had to cut any fill holes. The tanks are on a angle so they most likely hold only about 11 gallons. We get about 180 + miles with the two tanks at 7.5 mph.
