I was putting up my mast at the utility dock today (because new club rules forbid me doing it at my slip ), so I was approached by a half-dozen curious pedestrians. (one guy ran over to me holding a 3lb Brown Trout he'd just caught, and waved his phone at me to take a pic).

One guy told me about a Mac-only club in BC.

I've looked all over the site, but I cannot find where they actually are. All it says is "operating out of Vancouver". Even Google maps can't find them.

I wonder if they're a sort of virtual club, all on trailers, with only public launches to use.

Yes it is a virtual club with no fixed address or on the water facilities. We meet at local restaurants in their meeting rooms and have our on the water activities at Marina's and anchorages all over the Gulf and San Juan islands. We do member led cruises all over the place including Desolation Sound, Princess Louisa Inlet and the Broken Island Group. If you are ever in the area give us a ring. We are at the Blaine Marina this coming weekend for our annual Regatta.

Yep I,m a member also , I believe they have 70 members now !
