Epoxy for Rudder

I'm getting ready to modify my rudder on my Mac25. Was looking at West Systems for the epoxy, but it's a bit spendy. Is there a more affordable option that's appropriate for a rudder mod?
Thanks!

Good discussion here:

I looked for alternatives for my keel project before deciding that West was worth the extra bucks. You're only saving $20-30 with other 5:1 systems per gallon (your rudder project will probably use around half of that or less), and to me that was worth the quality you get with West. Plus, you can save the leftovers for future use on structural repairs. (Only use the best when it comes to structural work. Take it from me that it beats making the same repair twice!)
What sort of mods are you looking at for your rudder? Leading edge extension?

In reality a few bucks here and there makes little difference once your talking about anything marine.
Buy the best you can afford, sometimes the cheaper option works out to be more expensive in the long term.

i have used UV Clear tabletop from amason (211) its ok but a little runny, very clear and durableonce cured, dont try iut over a smooth painted surface tho
Also you can get BOATYARD grade 3m Epoxy from Homedepot /Lowes for about $40 and it works A OK too
