Hi Diandersson!

:o :o :? :? :| :|
Kinda alarming to say the least.
This issue is like a muffled time bomb that is going to have a lot of influences in the future (as well as now).

Friends just retired and bought land in a rural AZ community.
They felt that they got a great deal for the amount of land.
Plenty of room for planting trees and a large garden…… except from the pictures it looks like typical bare dirt rock desert 🌵 🏜 🌵 to me.
To each their own but water restrictions could impact their retirement plans and those of a lot of other people.

Thank you for posting these videos.

Best Regards

Another recent article…

https://www.rawstory.com/experts-warn-d ... e-in-2023/

It seems that the growing consensus is that, given the protracted year-on-year regional decline in precipitation for the entire river basin, the river flow rate is not going to improve. This is gonna be a bigger problem than it has been previously …. Hope there are a bunch of solar and wind farms being planted now to mitigate/alleviate at least some of the electrical system demands….

Leaving off the other more pressing issues for a moment, is there going to be a time when the lakes won’t be worth visiting with a macgregor?

You mean like the progression of the drying out of the Aral Sea? :|

Here’s similar photos of Lake Mead then and now

And of Lake Powell then and now

And of the Great Salt Lake then and now

So it would appear there is a whole lotta not sailing going on here….😳🫣🥺

Too bad that there are still some who would rather stick their heads in the sand than use their brains……
It’s not sensationalism or doomsday to acknowledge when the effects of change results in not getting water from the spigot for hundreds of thousands of people…. :|

Hmmm might have to be in a camping Kayak set up then. Which could be fun but not as fun as sailing my M
Thanks for the pictures though! Hope someone smarter than me figures it out soon

Hi All!

Here is a new article regarding the declining water levels for the Colorado River basin.
Things are continuing to look bleak…
https://www.latimes.com/environment/sto ... er-meeting
https://www.yahoo.com/now/more-question ... 39204.html

Wonder if they can reorganize the water allocations extensively enough and soon enough to avert a disaster affecting ordinary people.
It would appear that time is approaching when the big agricultural users should be substantially curtailed…but that would be a tough swallow for the party and executives of big corporations and profiteering….

Guess we’ll all have to wait and see…

Best Regards
